The A.I.V.E. Annual Assembly 2026 was held at our Clubhouse, providing an opportunity for discussion focused on maritime culture and the future of classic yachting.
Among the most significant moments was the appointment of our former President Giovanni Novi and Giorgio Balestrero as Honorary Members—both key figures in Italian yachting.
The art of restoration was also in the spotlight, with a focus on Italia (8 Metre S.I.), which represented the Yacht Club Italiano and won Olympic gold in 1936, and on Fantàsia, launched in 1914 and recently restored to her original splendor.
The Assembly also looked ahead, presenting updates to the CIM Regulations 2026 and reflecting on generational renewal within the sport.
