Loro Piana Giraglia

The Loro Piana Giraglia is one of the great classics of international sailing and one of the most eagerly awaited events in the Yacht Club Italiano’s season. The week will begin on Friday, 11 June, with the arrival of the boats in Saint-Tropez and the opening of the event village, officially marking the start of the event.
From 12 to 15 June, the fleet will compete in coastal races in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, with four days of inshore racing before taking on the historic offshore race.
On 16 June, the Giraglia offshore race will get underway, following the classic 241-nautical-mile course from Saint-Tropez to Genoa, rounding the Giraglia, the iconic island off the coast of Corsica.
The Loro Piana Giraglia week will conclude in Genoa on 19 June with the prize-giving ceremony at the Club, bringing together the competitors and celebrating the winners of one of international sailing’s most prestigious and long-standing classics.
