36° Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup

The 36th Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup has concluded in Porto Cervo, with two yachts owned by our members finishing just outside the podium.

After seven races, including coastal races through the La Maddalena Archipelago and windward-leeward races off Porto Cervo, My Song, the ClubSwan 80 owned by our member Pier Luigi Loro Piana, finished fourth overall, followed in fifth place by Capricorno, the J/V 82 owned by our member Alessandro Del Bono.

The week featured a wide range of conditions, from light winds in the opening days to a strong Mistral with gusts exceeding 28 knots, putting a world-class Maxi fleet to the test.

Victory went to Leopard 3, owned by Joost Schuijff, ahead of V, owned by Karel Komarek, and Galateia, owned by David Leuschen and Chris Flowers.
