More outstanding results for our Club members competing in major international sailing events.
Giacomo Conti claimed overall victory at the 2026 Rolex Middle Sea Race aboard Django 7x, the Wallyrocket 71 owned by Giovanni Lombardi Stronati. The crew secured the overall win on IRC corrected time in the 47th edition of the race, following a challenging 606-nautical-mile course around Sicily, marked by complex weather conditions and fierce competition.
Francesco Bruni finished second overall in the 2026 52 Super Series season aboard SLED, the TP52 owned by Takashi Okura. This result capped an impressive season for the team, which had already won the TP52 World Championship in Porto Cervo, with Bruni serving as tactician.
Another second-place finish came from our Club member Giulio Desiderato, competing aboard Django, the Cape 31 owned by Vittorio Lombardi Stronati, at the Cape 31 Gold Cup in Saint-Tropez. The competition remained fiercely contested until the final race, with the crew climbing the standings to secure second place on the podium after ten races.
