Regate di Primavera Portofino

The Regate di Primavera Portofino are one of the highlights of the Mediterranean sailing season. Organised by the Yacht Club Italiano, with the support of Belmond and Banca Passadore, the event brings together yachts over 50 feet and some of the world’s leading shipyards and international teams each year.

The Gulf of Tigullio provides the backdrop for the racing, in an area with which the YCI has longstanding ties: the Club has been organising sailing competitions here since the late 19th century and has maintained its summer base here since 1965. Crews will be hosted across Portofino, Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure, with a programme combining buoy racing and coastal courses, alongside a series of shoreside events.
