The Gentlemen Challenge

The Gentlemen Challenge is a regatta organised in collaboration with the Società del Casino and open by invitation to clubs belonging to the UCI – Unione dei Circoli Italiani. Each year, the event brings representatives of historic clubs from across Italy to Genoa, united by a shared passion for sailing and the sea.

The regatta is raced aboard the Club’s J/70s, with crews made up of representatives from the participating clubs. For the 2027 edition, the programme will unfold over three days of racing, providing an opportunity both for competition on the water and for members of long-established clubs to come together, with fair play and the pleasure of meeting and sharing experiences, both on and off the water, at the heart of the event.
