The Yacht Club Italiano Racing Team brings together young athletes engaged in a structured and continuous sporting path. Active in the Optimist, ILCA, 420, Windsurf, J/70, and Kitefoil classes, the team takes part in national and international regattas throughout the year. Over time, this training journey has led to numerous qualifications for Italian, European, World, and Olympic Championships.

Another major windsurfing achievement for our member Matteo Iachino, who claimed victory at the Grand Prix of Speed in La Palme, France, after three days of excellent conditions for speed sailing.

Iachino finished first overall in the Grand Prix of Speed, also taking victory in the Foil Speed division and third place in the Farrel Cup.

His performance was matched by some remarkable speeds: Matteo came close to 48 knots on the fin and reached almost 38 knots on foil, once again confirming his place among the leading competitors in the speed disciplines.
