The Yacht Club Italiano Racing Team brings together young athletes engaged in a structured and continuous sporting path. Active in the Optimist, ILCA, 420, Windsurf, J/70, and Kitefoil classes, the team takes part in national and international regattas throughout the year. Over time, this training journey has led to numerous qualifications for Italian, European, World, and Olympic Championships.

Genova Sailing Week

The Genova Sailing Week – Coppa Alberti stems from the Club’s long-standing sailing tradition, whose roots go back to the first regattas organised more than a century ago, when the historic metre classes competed in the waters off the Lido di Albaro. That tradition continues today with an event that brings together the heritage of sailing in Genoa and the participation of modern offshore and one-design fleets.

The regatta takes place over three days, with windward-leeward races for ORC and one-design classes on one of the Mediterranean’s most established racecourses. The event brings together a diverse range of crews and boats, united by the desire to compete and enjoy three days of racing in the waters off Genoa.
