Optimist

The YCI Optimist team has become a benchmark across Italy, attracting athletes from various cities and regions. Its sailors have secured dozens of qualifications for the Italian Championships in every season. Several have also been part of national teams abroad and at the European Championships.

With a packed calendar of regattas and training sessions, our young athletes compete in both national and international waters throughout the year.

The constant dedication and care of the entire Optimist staff go beyond winning on the racecourse: their goal is to instill the core values of sport, such as commitment, respect for opponents, and a continuous drive for self-improvement.
