Great satisfaction for our Members at the Italian Championship of the Switch class, held in Punta Ala last weekend with 8 races in ideal conditions. At the end of the event, the final standings confirmed the national titles — worth highlighting the debut of Alessandra Dubbini in the new foiling class, crowned by a fine victory and proof once again of her outstanding talent across different classes.
Alessandra Dubbini – Italian Women’s Champion Checco Bruni – Italian Master Champion and 3rd Overall
The Switch is a new Italian-designed one-design foiler, 3.9 metres long, built entirely in carbon (the platform weighs just 29 kg) and capable of flying at speeds of up to 30 knots.
