An excellent international result for our member Paolo Brescia, with fellow member Filippo Vulcanile on board, at the Melges 24 Open Croatian Nationals 2026, held in the waters of Biograd, where weather conditions allowed all nine scheduled races to be completed.
The event brought together 20 crews from five nations—Austria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, and Norway—confirming the high competitive level of the regatta.
The Italian team Melgina, helmed by Paolo Brescia, remained at the top of the leaderboard from the very first races, finishing in a prestigious second place behind the Croatian crew Razjaren, led by Ante Ćesić.
Also on board Melgina were Andrea Racchelli, Lorenzo Centuori, and Jas Farneti, all contributing to a highly consistent performance that confirms the team’s competitiveness on the international Melges 24 circuit.
