Young Yacht Club Italiano sailor Beatrice Catanoso delivered an outstanding performance at the Kinder Joy of Moving Coppa Primavela, one of Italy's most prestigious youth sailing events, organised this year by Yacht Club Gaeta under the auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation.
Competing in the ILCA 4 Under 16 class, where six races were held in the waters of the Gulf of Gaeta, Beatrice finished 4th overall and claimed 2nd place in the girls' standings.
The 2026 edition of the Coppa Primavela brought together 421 young sailors, aged 9 to 16, from across Italy, reaffirming its status as one of the country's premier events dedicated to youth sailing.
Beatrice's result is a testament to the strength of Yacht Club Italiano's youth programme and to the steady progress of its young athletes, who continue to distinguish themselves at the highest level of national competition.
