Classic Sailing and Solidarity – “AIL & ARIA – The Courage to Win”

Our member Serena Galvani is at the heart of the project “AIL & ARIA – The Courage to Win”, presented in Genoa at the Sala della Trasparenza of Regione Liguria—an initiative that brings together sailing, memory, and social inclusion.

The project involves AIL Genova Savona Imperia OdV, an association committed to supporting patients affected by leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, as well as advancing hematological research, and ARIA, a historic 8 Metre Class yacht launched in 1935 by the Cantieri Costaguta of Genoa Voltri. Owned by Serena Galvani for the past 28 years, she continues to promote its sporting and social significance.
