The marina of our Club has recently welcomed Ciocca, the new boat of Massimo Poggi — a beautiful Tofinou 9.7 with wood finishes that evoke a timeless charm.
Its name follows the tradition of the Poggi family of sailors, a name that recalls a sailing legacy rich with Olympic medals.
On Sunday afternoon, in the presence of a large group of family members, friends, and Club members, the boat's godmother — Augusta Poggi Rapallo, Massimo’s mother — christened Ciocca with the traditional bottle of sparkling wine.
A ritual of good fortune, marking the beginning of the next sailing adventures of our Club member, Massimo Poggi.
