The traditional Christmas greetings evening, held on Saturday, December 20, was a great success, especially thanks to the large participation of Members and many friends of the Club. This year, in fact, over 500 people took part in an evening dedicated to greetings, celebration, friendship, and fun, with the presence of many young people who made the atmosphere of our Club even livelier and more cheerful until late into the night.
As every year, on the occasion of the Christmas greetings evening, the YCI supports various charitable initiatives. The 2025 fundraising campaign was dedicated to Progetto Itaca Genova, founded in 2013 by families of people affected by psychiatric disorders and inspired by the Milan initiative launched in 1999, the first of its kind in Italy, later replicated in 17 other cities. Today, the Foundation coordinating the Italian branches is the leading national organization committed to promoting mental health. The association, made up of volunteers, develops programs of information, prevention, and rehabilitation aimed both at people experiencing mental health disorders and their families, with the goal of providing concrete support and increasing awareness of mental illness.
