March 6 at 6:30 PM – IO SONO ELETTRA Fabio Pozzo presents Marco Panella and his latest book Io sono Elettra. The story of Elettra, the boat Guglielmo Marconi fell in love with, and Marconi’s passion for his vessel… told by Elettra herself! Following the presentation, dinner at the Club restaurant (reservation required by March 4).
March 20 at 6:30 PM – "UN SOGNO CHIAMATO WALLY" Our Member Luca Bassani Antivari will present his book "Un sogno chiamato Wally" , published in December 2024. Wally is a story of passion, creativity, and vision. A tale of victories and defeats, insights and mistakes, friendship and rivalry—all in a constant quest for new and unexplored approaches to yacht design and production: "I still feel like that 9-year-old boy who spent hours devouring books about the great sailing ships of the past. I’m a man of the sea who fulfilled his dream. A dream called Wally. And I want to keep designing new boats that push the boundaries of innovation and avant-garde."
March 8 – A Carnival Day for Members of All Ages Pentolaccia – from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM We’re delighted to bring back the Pentolaccia, a festive tradition for our youngest Members. In the Club’s entrance hall, we welcome the students of the Sailing School and the children and grandchildren of Members (with their guardians) for an afternoon snack and celebration. Participation is free.
March 8 – MASQUERADE GALA – 8:00 PM – Clubhouse Restaurant The traditional Carnival party, open to all Members aged 18 and over. Participation fees:
Dinner & dancing: €60 (includes one drink after dinner)
Dancing only: €40 (includes two drinks after dinner)
Dress Code: Venetian mask & black tie Each Member may invite up to 3 non-member guests, aged 18+. RSVP by March 4, subject to availability.
