YACHT CLUB ITALIANO & YACHT CLUB SANTO STEFANO
New Reciprocal Agreement
On Saturday, April 5, a new reciprocal agreement was signed between Yacht Club Italiano and Yacht Club Santo Stefano, by Presidents Carlo Cameli and Piero Chiozzi, the latter present at YCI on the occasion of the AIVE assembly. This marks the 36th club with which we have established reciprocity.
Like our Club, Yacht Club Santo Stefano is a sports association founded with the aim of promoting sailing and spreading the knowledge and practice of nautical sports in its reference area, the Argentario.
The Club is headquartered at Villa Cortesini, on the Pozzarello headland. The Clubhouse overlooks the sea from a panoramic position above the Gulf of Porto Santo Stefano, one of Italy’s finest racing venues.
YCSS organizes regattas—including Pasquavela and the Argentario Sailing Week—and participates in sea-related events, also through partnerships with other associations committed to promoting sailing in the Argentario region.
It also offers educational activities for learning, updating, and perfecting sailing skills through the “Renzo Vongher” Sailing School, affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) since 1961.
