Once again this year, the Yacht Club Italiano’s “Beppe Croce” Sea School will organize its traditional summer programs: Sailing Week, Sailing College, and Cruise College, dedicated to all children and teens who want to explore the world of the sea and the sport of sailing.
Sailing Week: Weekly courses for boys and girls aged 6 to 12, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch at the Sea School included. Nine sessions are scheduled from June 16 to July 25, plus two late-summer sessions from August 25 to September 12.
Sailing College: These courses follow the Sailing Week program, with the addition of overnight stays (5 nights, from Sunday evening to Friday morning) at the Sea School’s guest quarters. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Sea School are included. Sessions will be held from June 15 to July 4 and from August 31 to September 12.
The sailing courses take place at the Yacht Club Italiano’s Sea School and in the waters off Corso Italia in Genoa. During the courses, students will learn how to take care of the equipment entrusted to them, study sailing, weather, and the sea, and gain the experience needed to sail safely and independently, under the constant guidance of our qualified instructors.
Cruise College: Weekly sailing-school cruises, from Sunday to Saturday, for young people aged 12 to 17. The program takes place aboard Grampus, a prestigious offshore sailing boat that can accommodate up to nine students, along with three instructors/supervisors.
This year’s cruises will run from June 22 until mid-July and will take place along the French Riviera! Cruise College offers a unique experience, allowing participants to spend a week in the open air, sharing their days with peers, sailing, learning key onboard maneuvers, and becoming familiar with the sea, weather, and seamanship.
Children of Club Members are entitled to a 10% discount on the course fee for Sailing Week and Sailing College. Please note that the courses are open to everyone, including non-members. We encourage you to spread the word among friends and acquaintances to promote this initiative!
