Paolo Brescia and Melgina Win in Monfalcone at the Melges24 European Sailing Series
A great result for our member Paolo Brescia, who at the helm of Melgina won the Monfalcone stage of the Melges24 European Sailing Series after nine fiercely contested races.
The crew, already crowned Italian champions at the end of May, confirmed their excellent form by consistently competing at the top, with two first-place finishes, two seconds, four thirds, and a discarded fourth-place result.
On board was also young member Filippo Vulcanile, who demonstrated skill and teamwork in all wind conditions, proving to be a valuable presence in the team.
The next challenge will be the World Championship in Trieste at the end of September.
