The zonal selection for the Italian Team Racing Championship took place last weekend in Andora, serving as the qualifier for the national event to be held in Cagliari from July 17 to 20.
Following an intense round robin, the top two qualifying teams for the final phase both came from our Club.
The team composed of Gabriele Burlando, Vittorio Cavalleroni, Leonardo Orlandini, Giancarlo Postiglione, and Carolina Vulcanile came out on top, dominating the final with a decisive 2–0 victory over their Club teammates.
In Cagliari, our young sailors will compete against the 14 best clubs in Italy, selected from the same FIV zones, for the prestigious Italian Team Racing Championship title.
Once again, the Club is proud of the commitment shown by its young athletes, as well as the dedication of their coaches, Mattia Bellico and Matteo Mulone.
