MATTEO IACHINO PWA FOIL SLALOM WORLD CHAMPION 2025
An absolutely outstanding season. Matteo Iachino claims the PWA Foil Slalom World Title 2025 thanks to exceptional performances, remarkable consistency, and flawless management of the key moments.
Guadeloupe – Total dominance and victory in the opening event. Sylt – Second place after three heat wins in one of the toughest stops on the circuit. Yokosuka – In unpredictable weather conditions, Matteo finishes with another second place and is mathematically crowned World Champion.
The athlete, proudly representing the Yacht Club Italiano, thus secures his third PWA World Title, remaining the only Italian ever to win a title on the professional windsurf circuit. Added to this is the ISWC Foil Speed 2024 title — bringing his career total to four World Championships.
