We are very pleased to announce that two Soci dello Yacht Club Italiano – Alberto Magnani and Giancarlo Ghislanzoni – have been awarded the title of Armatore dell’Anno UVAI 2025, earned at the end of an intense season on the offshore racing circuit. This prestigious recognition confirms the quality, dedication and sporting spirit of our armatori.
The Trofeo Armatore dell’Anno dell’UVAI (Unione Vela d’Altura Italiana), based on a special points ranking in agreement with the Altomare della FIV, is intended to reward those armatori who, with their boats, achieve the best sporting results each year in the regattas included in the Calendario Federale.
After 18 events, concluding with the Coppa Italia in Porto Santo Stefano last October — where Alberto Magnani finished second overall and Giancarlo Ghislanzoni third — the final ranking declared them winners of their respective Classi:
Classe A – Alberto Magnani with the Swan 45 Tengher
Classe B – Giancarlo Ghislanzoni with the J/122 CheStress 3
