An excellent result for Yacht Club Italiano at the Trofeo Uniqua 2026, the final qualifying event for the 420 Class World and European Championships, organized by Circolo Nautico Cesenatico in collaboration with Circolo Vela Cesenatico.
Dominating the U17 category was the Yacht Club Italiano crew of Giancarlo Postiglione and Carolina Vulcanile, who secured first place in their division after three days of racing.
This is a significant achievement for the Club’s two young sailors in one of the most important events on the national calendar, serving as the final selection regatta before the season’s major international competitions: the 420 World Championship, to be held in Biscarrosse, France, and the Junior European Championship, scheduled to take place in Nida, Lithuania. Both events are set to be held in July.
