Alessandra Dubbini wins silver medal at the 470 European Championship in Vilamoura (POR)
Our Member Alessandra Dubbini has won the silver medal at the 470 European Championship, held in Vilamoura, Portugal, sailing together with Giacomo Ferrari.
Throughout the week of racing, the crew consistently remained among the top positions in the standings, demonstrating great solidity and consistent performance in a particularly competitive fleet. At the end of the event, Ferrari and Dubbini finished the championship with an excellent second place overall in Europe, the result of a series of high-level races.
Alessandra wanted to share this achievement with the Club and its Members:
“I have just won the silver medal at the 470 European Championship in Vilamoura and I would like to greet all the Members of the Yacht Club Italiano, the Presidency, and everyone who has supported me since the early years of my 470 career. The YCI burgee is always with me.”
The Club congratulates Alessandra on this important sporting achievement, which brings the YCI colours onto the European podium of an Olympic class.
