From May 2nd to May 5th, the Regate di Primavera a Portofino. The municipality of Portofino and the Yacht Club Italiano once again inaugurate the 2024 sports season with the return of the Regate di Primavera a Portofino next May: for this edition as well, alongside YCI, the partners Belmond and Banca Passadore. The regattas will be open to all yachts over 50’, with the successful invitation formula involving some of the most important shipyards, such as: CNB Yachts, ICE Yachts, Nautor Swan and Solaris Yachts.

The Regate di Primavera a Portofino will officially begin on Thursday, May 2nd with the arrival of the boats and registration procedures. The boats will be moored at Portofino Yacht Marina until places are filled, then at the Port of Santa Margherita Ligure. Action begins on Friday, May 3rd with the start of the first race and will conclude on Sunday, May 5th with the final race and the award ceremony.

Once again, the strong connection of the territory with the sport of sailing and with the Gulf of Tigullio where the YCI has been organizing its regattas since the late nineteenth century and has had its summer headquarters since 1965 is emphasized.

Regate di Primavera - Portofino are organized by: Yacht Club Italiano, Municipality of Portofino, International Maxi Association. Splendido Mare – a Belmond Hotel – is the Main Partner along with Banca Passadore. The regattas have also been made possible thanks to the active collaboration of the Municipality of Santa Margherita, Portofino Yacht Marina, and Progetto Santa Margherita, with the support of Range Rover with a Courtesy Car service. Under the auspices of the Federazione Italiana Vela and the patronage of Regione Liguria.
