Once again, Portofino will inaugurate,  for the third year, the Maxi racing  season in the Mediterranean with the Regate di Primavera at the beginning of May.  This is thanks to the collaboration between Yacht Club Italiano, FIV- Federvela, Comune di Portofino e Comune di Santa Margherita Ligure

The Regate di Primavera will officially begin on Thursday 4th May with the arrival of the boats and the  registration procedures.  The boats will be moored in the Portofino Yacht Marina and Port of Santa Margherita Ligure   The regattas will begin on Friday 5th May and will end on Sunday 7th May, with the award ceremony in Portofino.

Once more, the strong relationship between the ligurian territory, yachting events  and the Golfo del Tigullio is highlighted.  Here, where the Yacht Club Italiano has had  its summer headquarters  since 1965,  has been organizing its regattas ever since the end of the 19th century.

The support of the two municipalities, Comune di Portofino e Comune di Santa Margherita, is fundamental to the success of the event. The two villages will be lively and will host events for participants and visitors during the regatta weekend.

This year the invitation to participate in the regattas has been accepted by three important shipyards that will be present with their boats as Shipyard Partners: Solaris Yachts, Ice Yachts, Mylius Yachts.
