Sailing courses for adults

Mast and line handling course

Our courses are also open to non-members of the Club.

To climb to the top of a mast, even just to check a halyard or replace a light bulb, a specific certification is required, as provided by Article 116 of Legislative Decree 81/08, as introduced by Legislative Decree No. 235/03.

The course is structured over four days. The minimum and maximum number of participants allowed is 4 trainees, with a teacher-to-student ratio of one to four.

The school will provide all necessary equipment for demonstration and training purposes.

At the end of the course, a final practical assessment will take place. A certification certificate will be issued in compliance with European Directive 2001/45/EC and Legislative Decree 81/08 (Annex XXI).
