The sailing courses take place at the Scuola di Mare sailing school of Yacht Club Italiano and in the waters in front of Corso Italia in Genoa.
During the courses, students will learn to take care of the equipment entrusted to them, studying sailing, weather, the sea, and gaining the necessary experience to navigate freely and safely, constantly supervised by our qualified instructors.
Sailing Week: Weekly courses for children aged 6 to 12, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with lunch at the Sailing School included. Nine courses are scheduled from June 16 to July 25, plus two courses at the end of the summer from August 25 to September 12.
THE COURSE:
The course introduces and encourages passion for the sport of sailing. The educational progression will be developed adapting to weather-sea conditions and the individual level of the students.
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
Sailing College: Follows the same program as Sailing Week with the addition of overnight stays (5 nights, from Sunday evening to Friday morning) at the Sailing School’s accommodation. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Sailing School. The weeks scheduled are from June 15 to July 4 and from August 31 to September 12.
THE COURSE:
This is a full-time course that allows students to get close to and develop a passion for the sport of sailing in a safe and welcoming sports environment. Students will be closely followed throughout their stay by highly qualified and experienced instructors and educators in their areas of expertise. Accommodation at the Sailing School’s guest house will be arranged in shared rooms based on age, gender, and friendships. The educational progression will be developed according to weather-sea conditions and the individual level of the students.
