The Beppe Croce Sailing School is the facility through which the Yacht Club Italiano, as a CONI – FIV recognized Sports Promotion Center, organizes sailing courses for children from 6 years old, teenagers, and adults.
The main goal is to teach how to sail, emphasizing responsibility towards oneself, others, the environment, and fun.
The Sailing School offers beginner and advanced courses from March to November and provides a complete program following this ideal structure:
The journey ends with learning how to race successfully in the Pre-competitive and Competitive teams (420, Laser - ILCA, Optimist), active year-round.
Anyone who wants to go beyond dinghies can join the crew of the Yacht Club Italiano’s 16-meter sailing yacht, which participates in coastal and offshore races, or take one of the various offshore sailing courses.
For older teenagers and adults, personalized lessons are available on boats with single, double, or group crews.
During the summer and winter courses, the School also provides a meal service for students, with lunch and, if reserved, breakfast and dinner.
The "Scuola di Mare Beppe Croce" Sailing School has a fleet of over 40 sailing boats, a team of qualified instructors and coaches, a fleet of 16 support dinghies, 6 vans with trailers for the competitive teams’ transport, a 500+ square meter facility equipped with a gym, classrooms for lessons, a cafeteria, and student accommodation for those staying during the courses.
